Xynergy Ergonomic Wellness Program
At Xynergy mind body & soul and Total Ergonomics, we believe there is no such thing as a one-size fits-all approach. We have partnered together bringing a new innovative personal approach to Wellness and Ergonomics, creating "Xynergy Ergonomics" We understand that each worker is unique, each worksite is different, and each job comes with its own risk of injury. The demands placed on today’s employees through advances in technology have increased the risk of injuries. As a result, worker compensation claims are at an all time high and account for 20 billion dollars a year in direct costs and 100 billion dollars in indirect costs. Improving ergonomic factors in the workplace through assessment of a person’s capabilities, physical attributes and work habits can help these claims.
Why is an Ergonomic Program crucial?
- Decreased injuries, illnesses and workers compensation costs
- Increased well being
- Increased efficiency while tasking
- Increased employee morale
- Decreased employee absenteeism and turnover
Group Program Packages developed by Total Ergonomics and Xynergy mind body and soul address the need to reduce or eliminate risk factors and minimize worker compensation claims. Our Group Program Packages are cost effective and provide the most comprehensive program "Xynergy Ergonomics" available under one roof. They include the following: Snapshot Questionnaire, Baseline Assessment, Stretch Break, At-Risk/Next Generation Analysis, Return to Work and Follow-Ups, and On site- Massage therapy, Wellness Fairs, Safety Trainings (customized to every industry and individual).
These programs are assessed and managed by our staff of Licensed Therapists and Chiropractic Physicians who focus on workplace ergonomics and conduct one-on-one workstation assessments, evaluations, employee trainings and demonstrations and prepare written reports for our clients. We work with the equipment and furniture on-hand to improve the fit for each employee, believing that risk is most often reduced through training and small workstation enhancements. Our approach reduces the cost of purchasing new, and often unneeded, equipment. Product recommendations are suggested only when engineering controls cannot be achieved though other means. Our Licensed Therapists and Chiropractic Physicians do not engage in selling ergonomic products, equipment or furniture.

- Ergonomic Behavior Modification
Behavioral modification is the new buzz word in the ergonomic community and for good reason. Our program “Xynergy Ergonomics” believes that changing the behavior of managers, supervisors and workers is a key element in making our ergonomic program more effective. Our aging work force, worker resistance to using ergonomic equipment, uncontrollable work environments and bad habits are sending red flags and that a different approach should be considered. - Other Offerings
