About the Treatment
An Oxygen Detox Session combines the effects of steam and ozonated oxygen in a very comfortable and relaxing experience. We recommend a 30-minute oxygen treatment at least once a month to help keep one's body cleansed. This enables the lymphatic system to work more effectively to eliminate greater amounts of toxins between treatments to receive the full health benefits of the therapy. Oxygen therapy is most effective when combined with regular exercise and a healthy diet. Even more benefits occur when used in conjunction with deep-tissue massage, herbal therapy, and relaxation techniques.
Here is how the treatment works:
Step 1: You will disrobe and sit down in a steam chamber. Your entire body will be in the chamber except for your head.
Step 2: The chamber is filled with aroma-therapeutic steam, which warms the skin, opens the pores, and relaxes the muscles of your body. Blood flow is increased to the skin and you will start to sweat.
Step 3: Ozonated oxygen will be introduced into the steam sauna, causing ozone gas to combine with the tiny water vapor droplets in the steam. As these heated droplets contact the skin, the pores open, allowing oxygen to flow into the skin and body. This allows oxygen to reach the blood and flow to all the cells in your body, bathing them with rich, pure oxygen.
Step 4: Once the high-density oxygen is delivered through the body's pores, it initiates a powerful detoxification process that rids cells of "oxidized" toxins. These toxins will be eliminated from your body through your pores and you can actually see black debris on your towels at the end of your session. Why do we need more Oxygen?
